During this exciting tour we will visit the largest island in Lake Titicaca, the Sun Island which has an admirable beauty with Inca archaeological sites and a beautiful blue lake in the background, considered the place where the Inca empire was born; and the city of Copacabana, the cradle of important civilizations with a beautiful church that is home of the Virgin of Copacabana, attracting thousands of pilgrims annually.
This tour begins in La Paz around 7:30 am, on a tourist transportation we will go to Copacabana, we’ll have lunch and then we will visit the fascinating Sun Island. Around 6pm we’ll return to Copacabana to spend the night.
Early after having the breakfast, we are going to visit the city of Copacabana, their church, their local markets and cerrro El Calvario, averaging 1:30 it will be time to return to La Paz.
