The pre-Columbian road of the Takesi is an original Inca route initiated in Ventanilla and ends in the subtropical valleys of the Yungas in which we can see diverse attractions such as the villages of Takesi, Chijlla and Kacapi and crosses important ecological zones with various plantations of coca, vegetables and fruits. The stone pavement of its trails and steps remain in good condition until today, attracting thousands of lovers of trekking and ecotourism.
We will start with the pick up of your hotel in La Paz around 7:00 am, we will head towards Choquecota where we will start the ascending trek until we reach the Takesi pass from where we will enjoy spectacular views of snowy peaks. From there we will descend until arriving at the village Takesi, place of the first camp.
At 7:00 am we will go to Kacapi continuing the trek and passing through regions of temperate climates with rivers, waterfalls and variety of plants. Then we will go to the community of Chojlla where it will be the second camp.
We will continue with our trekking towards Yanacachi, en route we will pass by the mine of Chojlla and more tropical regions typical of the Yungas. Finally in Yanacachi we will board our transport that will take us to La Paz arriving in the city around 6:00 pm.
